I love an image that you can go back to time and time again and get something new each visit. As a small example, if you look on the wall behind Peter Norfolk as hits the ball in the wheelchair tennis in Beijing (far left), you can see the faded remnant of the Olympic rings which were removed to make way for the Paralympic logo (which doesn't seem to have been stuck on very well!)
My favourite photos or videos are those that cause a reaction and sometimes make people question how it was achieved. When you see a certain passion in an athletes face when they're competing and you capture that moment at the right time, it makes for the best and most compelling images. The ultimate goal for me is getting instant impact and grabbing viewers attention by standing out from the crowd.
